Our venue... walk through

Set I

The evening opens in the spirit of the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, with The Loft hosting Bemidji's LoonBird Cafe. We'll gather for a meal served by The Blue Oyster and  listen to songwriters trade their songs and the stories inspiring them.

While it's an unproven fact, our Northwoods have the highest number of musicians and songwriters per capita in the state. We are teeming with writers tucked into pine stands and hollows, finding their words for the human experience and putting it to song.

Songs hold the pictures of our lives.

A good song will help you find where your soul is located.

-Barry Dean-

There’s a localness to their storytelling, creating a deeper sense of place and connection, becoming yet another way to celebrate this abundant place we call home. Join us to live the locations these songwriters will help you find.
